Hi, I'm Tammy!
I started Tammy Handmade with a simple mission: to make sewing feel empowering, fun, and totally doable - even if you’ve never touched a sewing machine before.
My sewing patterns are designed to help you feel confident, creative, and proud of what you’ve made (because let’s be real, nothing can the feeling of sewing something, especially when you get asked where you bought it!).
I started my sewing journey six years ago in the corner of my bedroom. A skill I started on the side of my design day job, has since blossomed into more than I could ever imagine. I’ve built a global sewing community, launched my own successful pattern brand, am a Brother Ambassador and I get to collaborate with brands I used to only dream about.
Sewing for me has changed my life, and now I'm here to help you enjoy this magical skill.

Commonly Asked FAQs
How can I find my order?
Once you place an order you’ll receive two emails automatically. One will show an order confirmation and the other will be a link to access your downloads instantly.
If you pay via ShopPay, you’ll be able to create an account and login to see all your orders and downloadable files whenever you shop on Tammy Handmade.
How do I print a digital sewing pattern?
All of my digital sewing patterns come with three different file types. All the patterns are layered so you can easily print the sizes you want.
- If you're printing on a home computer use the A4 / US letter files and print 100% to scale. I always recommend downloading the pattern to your computer before printing as it can print incorrectly within a browser.
- If you hate sticking pages together, use the A0 files to print large scale at a printing shop.
- Use the Projector files if you have one, there are two projector files - one uses black lines and the other uses coloured lines.
